Morris Shockley is the President/CEO of Hollenbeck Palms. A California native, Morris began his career in 1972 as a social worker for the US Army. Stationed in Germany, he built rapport with enlisted personnel to help guide them in making important family decisions and adapt to their limitations. After an honorable discharge in 1975, Morris returned to California and served various accounting positions until he joined Pasadena-based Wallace Company in 1980. Serving as Controller, he oversaw the firm’s financial decisions, monitored its financial condition and ensured that federal, state and local guidelines were met and followed. In 1986, Morris was named Vice President of Hollenbeck where he oversaw the daily administration of our Skilled Nursing Facility and the finance, accounting and information systems components of the organization. In 2019, he was promoted to President/CEO providing leadership in the development and implementation of business strategies. In this role, he manages the organization’s resources as well as the overall operation and makes major decisions affecting the entire organization. Morris earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Loyola University and is a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator.
